Nokia has just announced that they have started the global roll-out of ‘Nokia Reading‘ app for Lumia smartphones. The app will roll out on a country-by-country basis from this week and will be available on all Lumia Smartphones. The initial launch countries are France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain and the UK, others regions will follow over the rest of the year.

Nokia BetaLabs has just released its City Lens augmented reality beta app for Lumia Windows Phone devices. City Lens allows users to experience their world in a totally new way, once you launch the app your surrounding points of interests will instantly be displayed on the device screen.
Qt based ’FaceLock’ app is now available for MeeGo smartphone N9 over Nokia Store. The app is developed by INdT (Nokia Institute of Technology) in Brazil, uses mobile face recognition technology to unlocking the device with face identity.
