Much awaited Nokia N8 is going to hit the market soon with Symbian^3. Let’s take a closer look at Symbian Foundation’s upcoming Mobile OS Symbian^3 and find out what it has new for Device manufactures, App Developer and of-course consumers.
Symbian^3 PDK v3.0.0: is now available for Download
The first PDK based on Symbian^3 (S^3) since it achieved its Functionally Complete (FC) milestone is now available to download. The PDK contains a full build of the Symbian^3 platform along with the corresponding source code, giving developers access to the S^3 feature set and providing the community with the means to engage with us on taking S^3 into devices.

Symbian^3 now Functionally Complete
Symbian Foundation released a Platform Release Plan for S^2, S^3 & S^3 OS, Which says that Symbian^3 is now in FC state -mean Symbian^3 is now “Functionally Complete not Feature Complete” and its in a good enough state for the community to start developing it further.
