The Meego has announced “Day 1″ of the handsets and posted some screenshots and video of the user interface.

The MeeGo Handset Day1 User Experience includes:

• MeeGo Handset Dialer is MeeGo’s Handset dialer application
• MeeGo Handset SMS is MeeGo’s Handset SMS application
• Fennec Browser is MeeGo’s Qt based web browser for Handsets
• MeeGo Handset Photos is MeeGo’s Handset photo viewer
• MeeGo Handset People is MeeGo’s Handset contacts management system
