Nokia has now partnered with 3D printing guru MakerBot for their 3D printing community project, bringing 3D printing to life at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Nokia has become the first major phone manufacturer to release 3D templates for a community customisation project. Lumia 820 owners can now print their own customer cases using a 3D Development Kit on MakerBot’s Thingiverse.
Nokia has also started a new global contest over their official blog , where you could win your very own personalised 3D printed case with brand new Lumia 820, all you have to do is to tweet something funny, entertaining to @Nokia_Connects using the hashtag #Lumia820.
