Well we got the Nokia’s new business smartphone E7 from WomWorld/Nokia, And excited to share our very first impressions and views on the device. So let’s start..

As all of you guys already know that Nokia E7-00 is Nokia’s new Business smartphone, runs the Symbian operation system Symbian^3, comes with inbuilt business features like VPN. The device is very slim, has same basic design language as the N8 but a bit bigger, the anodised and sleek metal body feels great and gives premium touch to device. It’s large 4” screen adds a new dimension to beauty together with better performance and user experience.

Nokia again impressed us in Packaging, E7 come in a very small box. Remember Nokia N8 Packaging, E7 Box is smaller. If you guys have seen our N8 Unboxing you have noticed that N8 is packed without any plastic cover inside the box, But here now the E7 device is packed within plastic, -1 on that!

So let’s start with Things we Like:

• Excellent built quality ( Use of  uni Anodized Aluminum body – same as N8)
• Large 4 inch Capacitive touchscreen
• Crisp and clear CBD display
• Multi Touch
• HDMI connectivity
• QWERTY keyboard is smooth
• Use of Gorilla screen glass
• Slide out mechanism (Alike N97)
• New Spring supported Volume Rocker & unlock button

• Facebook & Twitter integration in contacts
• Power saving mode
• Centered Menu Key (Same as C7)
• HD video recording
• USB OTG support
  

What we didn’t Like :

• There was no pouch / cover  / cleaning cloth for E7 ( Business phone really  should have one)
• Again the use of same type plastic covers over HDMI port as of N8– heavy use may end up with breaking or loosing

• Positioning of  Speakers  are slightly changed as compared to N8, but still feels dead if  kept at back position on bed or something like that)
• The 8MP EDoF camera, in-fact we think 5 MP AF was good for E7.

We  know some of our points on “What we didn’t like” section are minor but hey its our very first impression, Thing may change during our review. We really like E7 design, built quality and the sliding mechanism and looking forward to spend much more time to study it in depth, specially we are waiting for Symbian Anna update and we are sure you guys too…;-)
