Nokia E71 new firmware v501.21.001 release to address very specific complaints from customers and operators. Its previous software version was 500.21.009.

You can update your Nokia E71 firmware  by using Windows PC applications  Nokia’s Software Updater or Ovi Suite . The Nokia E71 does not have UDP (User Data Preservation), so remember to backup all of your personal data before updating the device firmware.
