Good News, Nokia India has finally started sending out invites to the press and media for the official launch of their new Lumia range of WP8 devices the Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820 in India on January 10th, 2013.

We reported yesterday that some of the online retailers has started accepting pre-orders for the devices with availability set for 12th January. Nokia Care also confirmed device availability across India on 11th January and now as the official launch invites are out, the date is confirmed. According to the invite note, the launch will be held in New Delhi on 10th January 2013.

The flagship Lumia 920 features a 4.5-inch Pure Motion HD+ 1,280 x 768 display, 1.5GHz dual-core S4 processor, 1 GB RAM, 8.7MP PureView camera with OIS, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Wireless Charging and a powerful 2,000 mAH battery. While the Lumia 820, reps the same chipset as it elder sibling, a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 ClearBlack OLED display, 8-megapixel Carl Zeiss camera 1650 mAH battery and exchangeable shells with Wireless Charging support.
