Nokia Push Burton – Snowboarding R&D Final Episode ‘Work Rate’
Nokia Push team is collaborating with the world’s biggest snowboarding company, Burton Snowboards to create a new type of connected snowboarding. This is the final episode of Push Snowboarding videos which detail the R&D work they have been undertaking to capture robust data from snowboarders. Check them out!
“Push Snowboarding is a project aimed at showing a new side of snowboarding. By providing as much data as possible about boarders’ performances, our goal is to give a unique insight into the sport, and to make what is an incredible sport a connected one.”
This final episode shows us how the Push Snowboarding team are capturing a snowboarder’s heart rate to determine how hard a boarder is working on the slopes!
Push Snowboarding will alpha launch at the 2011 Burton European Open.
