Opera Mobile for Symbian Updated to v11.5.1


After Opera Mini update, the Opera Mobile team released a new built of Opera Mobile 11.5.1  for Symbian phones. The update brings predictive text input, language choice in search field with couple of big fixes and stability improvements.

Changelog v11.5.1:

  • Added predictive text input and language choice in search field
  • Improved stability in out of memory situations
  • Fixed issues with browser freezing
  • Fixed issues with browser when Opera Link is enabled
  • Fixed issues with text selection and cut/copy/paste
  • Fixed issues with reappearing search engines after deletion
  • Fixed issues with selecting text using Up/Down navigation keys
  • Fixed issues with third-party input keyboards (QQ, Baidu, Sougou)

    You will see it easiest when you start the installation, the build numbers has increased since last version.
    11.50(1947) and 11.50(1948) for the Apac version.Since this is an update, the version number itself has not changed.

    It doesn’t update through Nokia Store.. it’s still the previous version in store so it won’t let me update :(
    I hate it every time an update is promised and i go to look in nokia store and the update just isn’t there!!!!!!!!!!
