Rumor: New Firmware Update in works for First Generation S^3 Devices
According to the latest rumor, Nokia is working on a new firmware update for its first generation Symbian^3 smartphones.
From a reliable source Hungarian tech site Smartphonepro reports that Nokia is working on a new firmware update for its first generation Symbian^3 smartphone N8, C7, X7, E7 etc. The upcoming firmware update is said to carry version number 111.050.0003 (Current Belle refresh is v111.040.1511). Where the changelog and release date is still unknown, the minor jump in version numbers suggest possible fixes and performance improvements in the update.
Well, we don’t have any official confirmation on this yet, so take this one with a pinch of salt.
