Quick head-up, Fring for Nokia updated to v4.05(17). The update brings improved video, better audio, some bug fixes and better stability to the client.

Fring adds Video calls to Symbian 9.3 devices
Just couple of minutes ago Fring Team over Fring Blog announces the Video calls support for Nokia Symbian 9.3 devices. The update also said to brings some quality improvements , bug fixes & better connectivity.
Fring Symbian Client Updated to 4.01(12)

Fring updated its Symbian Client to Version 4.01(12) – adding some of the new features like ‘Changing Status‘, sending ‘DTMF‘ tones & added new look to Twitter 2.0 for Nokia Touch Users.
Symbian users- pay attention… *Bonuses for our Nokia touch users… Also as you may recall, we previously launched our in-chat advertising a few months ago. Now we are expanding our ads campaign into additional Symbian devices.

Fring Updated & Now Support Video Calls

Fring has just announced there updated version 4.00.05 for S60 platform which is going to supports Fring and Skype Video Calls !

Now for the first time ever fringsters can make and receive internet video calls from mobile devices (for free!), picking up your fring and Skype video calls from the road, and seeing the person you’re talking to from your mobile phone.
Fring video is currently supported on Nokia touch (such as X6, N97 mini,N97, 5800), N95, N95 8G and N82 devices, popular platforms will be added soon.”

Fring Has Launched New Friends Finder Feature with Fringster Profile Page
Frings team have launched a brand new feature called ‘Friends Finder‘.Friends Finder allows fringsters to look for existing friends on fring & on the various email services, invite them via e-mail and search for new friends by sorting out other fringsters’ profiles.
Where on your Fringster Profile Page you have to log on using your fring id and activate the service.After activating & updating your profile you can choose to make it public or private. Note:-if your profile is set to private- fringsters looking for new friends might miss you.
You can send your profile page link to your friends, so they know your fring User-ID and add you as a fring buddy easily. And of course, friends visiting your fring profile web page can chat with you via the fringME! Widget, connecting you from the web straight to your mobile device.
