Netbooknews reports that Nokia is working on two new low end MeeGo smartphones targeting its Next Billion strategy for developing markets, and this information is coming directly from Nokia’s Next Billion Group itself.
Despite of huge support from the petition with over 8,000 signatures, Whatsapp team is silent on developing their client for MeeGo platform. Now the good news, the vibrant Maemo/Meego community is working on an unofficial WhatsApp for Nokia N9 and N900, releasing first beta next week.
