Finally Nokia and Microsoft deal get signed to build a new global mobile ecosystem. According to Nokia - Microsoft and their team members are already working together on defined roadmap and are on-schedule to deliver volume shipments 2012, But there are chances that we can see the first WP powered Nokia device at the end of 2011.
Well, Its true. Today Nokia and Microsoft announced plans to combine assets and build a new global ecosystem to challenge the existing Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android platforms.
Today Nokia and the Symbian Foundation made a decision in future management of Symbian operating system. The foundation will become a legal entity responsible for licensing software and other intellectual property, such as the Symbian trademark and Nokia is now going to handle all governance including future development of the Symbian platform available to the ecosystem via an alternative direct and open model.
Nokia today released an update on deployment of Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync for Nokia smartphones.

Today just after publishing Q3 2010 financial results Nokia issued two more press releases. Announcing reduction of about 1,800 employees globally to increase its responsiveness to consumer demands & reduce time to market, And also to bring more focus on Qt and HTML5 support for both Symbian and MeeGo platforms.
