Today Nokia Ovi Suite updated to v2.2.1.23, Its previous version was v2.2.0.245. The update brings more stability,  improvement and contacts syncing support with Mozilla Thunderbird.

Today Nokia X6 and Nokia X3 gets Firmware Update , Nokia X6 firmware updated to version 21.2.005 & Nokia X3 firmware updated to version 08.50.

You can update your Nokia X6/Nokia X3 firmware via OTA (Over-The-Air) or via Nokia’s Software Updater application , Nokia Ovi Suite on Windows PC. The Nokia X6 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), but its always a good idea to backup all your personal data before updating the  firmware.

Note: It may take some time before the new firmware is available for your region.

Remember Nokia Ovi Blog Video Competition we post couple of days ago, offering  two of winners an all expenses trip to London for this years Nokia World, and Nokia Developer Summit. And here is my entry to the competition……..!

Miss Ovi Blog Niini asked to shot out a brief video (no more than 2 minutes) reviewing what happened at Nokia World 2009, and what you think will happen this year in Nokia World 2010. And as mentioned by Niini that “ Ovi Blog is looking for creative content, not expert camera skills or anything like that  “- I have not used any special effects or camera skills- The whole video is shot using two Nokia N97 mini devices by my self and there are no other person involved in this shootout or in planning – Except the Tailor & the Flex Printer guy.

Project Steps:

1- Project start with searching the Internet for the Nokia World 2009 content  &  Images on what I expect from Nokia in 2010.

2- Then some paper work like Script writing & planning.

3- Photoshop work on Images took whole day.

4- Finally Flex Printing took another day.

5- Filex cut by Tailor, hey thanks for your neat hands man.

6- Re-arrangement & Fixing of Images at my Home.

7- Shoot out Begins with lots of retake…..!

There is so much to shoot for both Nokia World 2009 and 2010, but due to time limit of 2 minutes I have cut them all. Also as Miss Ovi Blog Niini asked to shoot the Pure Video without using any PC effects software or camera trick - Brings this Project as a big task for me. This whole Project including the Video Shot is done by myself alone. Even in some places I have to use two Nokia N97 mini’s to shot the scene – as no camera or video trick is allowed.

I simply used Adobe Photoshop for Images & Windows Live Movie Maker to joint the different video clips shot on my two Nokia N97 mini’s and create a simple video.

Simple & Pure  :-)

Until now, SatNav has been kept in the hands of the few. That just doesnt feel right.  Nokia is now giving away SatNav for free on all Nokia smartphonesits free and its for everyone. Because Nokia believes that everyone should be free to get to the people and places they love.
