DataMonitor is an smart data usage app for Symbian devices developed by One View Systems. It monitors GPRS / WiFi network traffic and displays real-time data usage information using a ticker widow on screen.

“Data Monitor”, monitors network traffic through specific network connections on the device it is installed on, and displays real-time data usage information. You can customize the way the ticker widow is displayed, its position and the background and foreground colors. The user can also select the network to be monitored and the limit for alert.

Its comes in two versions:

DataMonitor Free: This free version only allows you to monitor your GPRS data usage.

DataMonitor Paid: The premium version cost you € 1.00 (incl. taxes), allows you to configure and position the ticker window, set a usage alert, select the network to be monitored (GPRS/WiFi) and so on.

Today Nokia X6 and Nokia X3 gets Firmware Update , Nokia X6 firmware updated to version 21.2.005 & Nokia X3 firmware updated to version 08.50.

You can update your Nokia X6/Nokia X3 firmware via OTA (Over-The-Air) or via Nokia’s Software Updater application , Nokia Ovi Suite on Windows PC. The Nokia X6 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), but its always a good idea to backup all your personal data before updating the  firmware.

Note: It may take some time before the new firmware is available for your region.
