ABBYY Mobile OCR combines powerful Optical recognition technology for mobile devices, It intelligently locates different types of contact information which can be found on a business card and automatically save them to  the corresponding fields of a Nokia address book. So you’ll get fast accurate results with extracted details easily added to contacts with a one key press.

First come to the User Interface of the app – It uses  very simple UI, you will see a frame in which the Business card should be placed. It clearly shows you how to place the card – Green means now you are ready to take picture where Red indicates the need of alignment.

When adding a new contact, ABBYY Business Card Reader 2.0 enables you to add a photo of the contact person without leaving the application. Having a picture in your phone book will help facilitate future communications.

You can capture images by pressing either camera button or Middle button of the D-pad. When an image is captured it’ll automatically process the data which will take few seconds, After that you will get contact information such as First Name, Last Name, Company, Title, Telephone Numbers, Fax, E-mail, Web site and more at the right place on your Nokia Smartphone address book.

You can also edit the contact details, add a thumbnail or change the field before saving. After you have done press Done button and then the contacts list will be updated with the data on the Business card.
