WhatsApp for Symbian updated to v2.6.61, Adds Homescreen Widget


The popular cross platform IM app ‘WhatsApp’ for Symbian updated to version 2.6.61. This latest version brings new homescreen widget and performance improvements to client. The update is about 3.3 MB in size.

WhatsApp Messenger is a smartphone messaging app which allows you to exchange messages with your friends and contacts without having to pay for SMS. WhatsApp Messenger is cross platform and available foriPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Nokia and yes, those phones can all message each other! To send and receive messages, WhatsApp utilizes your existing smartphone internet data plan: 3G/EDGE(or Wi-Fiwhen available).

    new version is very buggy…. notifications dont get cleared while in conversation…the phone keeps beeping of new chats when inside a conversation …..keep getting glimpse of homescreen while keyboard is open…

    whatsapp new version 2.6.61 available but follow glitches
    the big enter button does not work
    it does not show in the task manager
    the widget of whatsap is of no use
    the arrows keys dont work
    the best part the paste option does not work so annoying..:@
